Removing marijuana from drug schedule and legalizing it at the federal level will help reduce the deficit with the tax revenue we as a nation stand to receive from the legal sale of a God-given plant. The legalization of marijuana would help reduce the unemployment figures by creating thousands of new jobs. The DEA could devote the hours they are currently using for marijuana to the stronger more lethal drugs such as cocaine or methamphetamine and be doing more to better our country. The legalization of marijuana would also help reduce the opiod dependancy spreading through the land and help to reduce Medicare payments to Doctors.
