The United States should facilitate the creation of a Kurdish state.

There is a nation fighting against ISIS, fighting against extremism, that has no land of their own. The Kurds are a people of outstanding morals, loyalty, courage and honor.
The United States has never had a better ally and friend than the Kurdish people. Research the Kurdish people yourself. They are extraordinary.
Middle eastern borders were drawn abruptly and arbitrarily after WW1. The territory in Iraq and Syria that is now controlled by ISIS is not the sovereign ground of any claimant, besides the bedouin.
The US should stoke international sentimentality to the effect that land won back from ISIS by the Kurds should become Kurdish land.
The Kurds have been, are, and will be the best allies we could ever hope for in the region, and helping them, will in fact, help us.
