Universal Access to Free Higher Education

Created by S.N. on May 14, 2014

According to www.collegedata.com, for 2013-2014, "a 'moderate' college budget for an in-state public college for the 2013–2014 academic year averaged $22,826." So once a student is finished with college, they have established their debt for the next couple of years, but not necessarily a job to pay for that debt. There our countries in Europe that have universal access to free higher education. The free higher education is covered by higher taxes. This would be a way of helping students get an education, without having to worry about debt the debt that comes afterwards.
