We are just about the only western industrialized country that doesn't have free universal healthcare.
How can we be considered the greatest nation on the planet, when there are millions of U.S. citizens that can't afford to see a doctor for ailments and injuries they might have?
The most important job of a country is to protect it's citizens from all harm but in reality money/greed take precedence over the well-fare of the american people.
Our country allocates 600 billion dollars on military spending, which is not only the highest in the world, but also higher than China's, Russia's, Saudia Arabia's, France's, United Kingdom's, Germany's, Japan's, and India's military spending COMBINED.
One solution: rethink military spending so free universal healthcare can become feasible.
