All workers should receive vacation & sick proportional to the hours worked weekly. Part-time workers should get benefits for all businesses in the U.S. And for any business or corporation that sells or trades goods with the U.S., they have to provide the same sick and vacation time regardless of the base of operations. Thus, a half-time (20 hours/week) worker would accrue 50% sick time & vacation time of a full time worker. All full time workers would receive a minimum 2 weeks vacation/year, and 1 week sick time / year. This would apply to all foreign workers of US corporations with significant fines &criminal penalties for violators. Bring minimum standards of treatment of workers into our society so we can work together to form a more stable society.
