Universally improve the education of stigma and mental health in the schooling system.

Created by J.K. on January 14, 2013

As years go on, and technology becomes more advanced, stigma and mental health are becoming larger topics in the school environment.

Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for peoples between the ages of 15 and 24.

19.3 percent of high school students have seriously considered killing themselves.

14.5 percent of high school students made actual plans for committing suicide,

900,000 youth planned their suicides during an episode of major depression.

And the statistics are becoming greater as years go on.

Making education concerning stigma and mental health larger in schools would possibly help the suicidal.

In addition to this, mental helpers/aides should have a greater role in the schooling environment.
