Update and Expand Federal Overtime rules to be meaningful today.

Created by R.W. on January 03, 2015

The administration should raise the minimum salary level for overtime pay. The levels are too low to provide relief and benefit for the majority of middle class wage earners.

Also, the job definitions that exempt classes of workers from overtime pay need to be narrowed so that workers are not unfairly denied protection. There needs to be a recognition of the value of a balance between work and non-work time.
