Update Annual Public Housing Recertification Process to Save Trees, Increase Accuracy and Save Time!

The annual recertification process for residents of Public Housing currently duplicates the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) process already set up by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Currently, AGI is calculated manually by Public Housing Property/Asset Managers throughout the country. This process is time consuming and has a high dependency on human judgment (accuracy factor) when evaluating income figures and deductions. Please sign the petition telling your representatives to:
1) Automate the Recertification Process for Public Housing
2) Require that every Public Housing resident must file an Annual Income Tax.
3) Eliminate the EIV screen and add the Rent Roll Screen that brings up Rent amounts via the resident’s Social Security number.
