Update basic science standards for middle schools and high schools.

The Obama administration has identified science education as critical to our future, both as a technology leader and as an economically stable and growing society. And yet, as it stands, basic requirements for science learning are at best outdated. If we are to continue to lead the charge. If we are to stay on the leading edge of science, we must teach the next generations not just the scientific greats of centuries long ago, but of the geniuses of living memory and those alive today.
