It is imperative all members of Congress recognize they represent We the People, NOT interest groups or Grover Norquist . Our representatives cannot be bound to any pledges to individuals or special interest groups (SIG)
Congress needs a job description clarification:
You serve ALL constituents- not only the party or group who elected you. You were not hired to work for wealthy donors and/ or SIG's. You are to act in best interest of ALL your constituents. Any and all past commitments will no longer be honored; Congress is to represent all of their constituents. Should any member of congress wish to sign a pledge to a wealty donor or SIG they will be fired . The job requires you serve all the people, never a select few.
