This petition is made to help bring fairness to consumers of the digital age by updating the current copyright laws to meet the standards of the 21st century. People should be allowed to create content of what they like and put it on the internet as long as no income is being made from it and there is no claim to it. The copyright laws should benefit the consumers and the corporations equally, not just benefit corporations.
