We claim the United States is the freest nation in the world and that we are the leader of the free world. However, when it comes to our elections, we allow the few to elect our leaders and the rest of America gets very little to no say who becomes our leaders.
For far to long we let the Electoral College decide who is the President of our country. If this is a country elected by the people, why is the most powerful office elected by 538 people?
We should remove the public primaries; they are a outdated system that almost no one votes in. Replace it with one general election.
Last but not least, ban corporation donations. This country is for the people and our leaders should be elected by the people.
