Update zoning regulations in L.A. to increase density. This will positively affect overall sustainability and efficiency

Created by P.Z. on March 29, 2014

Through a healthy densification of population in Los Angeles, the city will reactivate areas of major importance. The proposal has a positive impact on social integration, the creation and improvement of small businesses, a highly efficient mass transportation system and the reduction of commuting time among many more benefits.
All this will decrease the misuse of time and resources, impacting household economy, maintenance of infrastructure and the overall environment.

I believe that an outdated zoning regulation have been an impediment for these changes to happen.
