Hello,
I would like to ask if the government would reconsider how negative discharges are handled. When one is young and goes into the military at 18 it doesn't change the fact they are young and still has growing up to do. I have a sister who got into trouble which resulted in a bad conduct discharge and confinement back in 2005. To this day almost 10 years later it still haunts her and effects her. It is not fair to ruin someone's lives and futures because of mistakes they made they did not result in the death or injury of a person. This world is cruel and tends to hold mistakes over ones head forever and it is not fair. I would like to ask if discharges can be automatically upgraded after 2-4 years so that person can have a chance at a normal life. Especially if they have changed.
