Soldiers have been given the Medal of Honor for throwing themselves on grenades or exposing themselves to deadly fire in order to save their comrades. Captain Khan placed himself between a Suicide bomber and his men. This resulted in the premature detonation of the vehicle and saved all of his men. The award given was not adequate to the deed preformed.
