Sergeant Major. Bradley Kasal, USMC. On Nov. 14 2004, as a First Sergeant during Operations Phantom Fury, Fallujah Iraq; he acted decisively, showed no greater love, and leadership by example towards his men and fellow Americans when he went into a house in Fallujah to retrieve wounded Marines. In the process, he sustained more than 40 shrapnel wounds from covering another wounded Marine with his own body, after an insurgent threw a grenade. He also sustained 7 gunshot wounds and refused medical attention until his men got aid first. He would lose 60% of his blood by the time the engagement was over. Over the years he has had more than 21 surgeries. Let’s give this hero the award he deserves; The Medal Of Honor.
