upgrade PFC Douglas Edward Collett's Naval Achievement Medal to a Medal of Honor.

Created by A.M. on April 25, 2013

From 1992 to 1996 served the greatest Marine ever. He was a hybrid Hygiene-Equipment Operator-Combat-Engineer-S1-Clerk.

During his tour of duty in Hawaii, PFC Collett ensured that beaches were cleared of mines prior to the landing of the Infantry, and was grievously wounded whilst repelling invaders. For all that PFC Collett did for his country and for the United State Marine Corp, he was only awarded a Naval Achievement Medal.

He saw more combat than veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He had PTSD (and cured it).

He is a doctor, a lawyer, a cop, an Infantryman, an engineer and a reporter. He's also Mark Smith.

It's time we honor America's Greatest Hero.
