This petition is to serve as a request for the federal government to force Illinois, the only state in the union to not recognize a lawful carry of firearms, to in fact recognize and let the people who are lawful gun owners to carry either concealed or openly loaded firearms for the use of personal protection in all public forums and lands across the state of Illinois. Currently there is no lawful way to protect ones self. The second ammendment has been trampled long enough in the state of Illinois. The time has come for intervention. It's intervention shall not enact or push any fee based perversion of this request upon the general public of the state of Illinois. Nor shall any county, city, village nor town cause the same to be done.
