The 2nd Amendment is a critical part of maintaining our Freedom and Liberty. While recent shootings are a tragedy, and should not be minimized, the fact remains that the majority of murders are not with firearms. Media portrays gun owners as the problem, when the truth is, most gun owners are normal everyday people who support and follow the law. Additionally, it is rarely ever reported when a firearm is used to stop a crime or save a life. Gun control will not stop a criminal from getting a gun or using some other means to harm others. It is natural to be outraged when a shooting happens. However, trampling The Constitution with new laws will not solve the issues of society. It will only create new problems.
