The Second Amendment protects the American Citizens' right to keep and bear arms. Some politicians have used the tragedy at Newtown, Connecticut to play on the fears of Americans and push their agendas to restrict or outlaw the right to keep and bear arms. The tragedy at Newtown, Connecticut broke my heart, sickened me to my core and struck terror at the deepest parts of my soul. As a wife and mother, I do not want the government telling me that I cannot keep a weapon in my home to protect my family. Please sign this petition and tell OUR government that we want OUR gun rights protected and we are not okay with giving them up. The guns that were used in the tragedy at Newtown, Connecticut, did not belong to the shooter. The politicians want us to forget that part.
