Our US Congressmen passed the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). When president Obama was elected he took an oath to support the US Constitution and laws of the land. The representatives of The American people enacted this law which represents the views of Americans and president Obama should honor his oath to support the laws of the United States of America. The American family model is given by God and should not be changed. God created a man and woman as the family unit to provide nurturing and protection to children which is core to our American values and continued existence as a nation.
