What ever happened to Manifest Destiny? Over two centuries after the Revolution the entirety of North America does not sit within our Union.
Instead, our brothers to the north sit under the oppressive regime of the British monarch. They labor daily for a monarch thousands of miles away, who cares more for her corgis than her Dominion of Canada. Despite all efforts for freedom, Canada remains beholden to a monarch.
It is the duty of the United States of America to free our fellow North Americans from English tyranny. Yet, to annex all of Canada in one-go would put too large a strain on our administration. Instead, it is suggested that British Columbia be acquired at this time to both extend liberty, and connect Alaska to the continental U.S. creating a more pleasing map.
