Uphold the First Amendment and stop the laws made to discriminate against the LGBT community Based on Religious Reasons

Created by J.W. on February 25, 2014

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution provides that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion ...."

With this in mind, we see that the laws being being sent up for approval around the country, which allow open discrimination against the LGBT community are in fact and by definition, unconstitutional and should be struck down immediately, never to be brought up again.

By allowing these laws to exist, our lawmakers are sending a clear and loud message to the public, that message is, "The Constitution is no longer valid and we will not follow the laws upon which this country was founded."

We, as the people of this nation, have grown tired of having our lawmakers waste time and money on these harmful laws that only cause economic turmoil and hate.
