Laws that protect citizens against voyeurism must be expanded to include the recent phenomenon of photographing people - particularly women and children - in public where the camera has a view of private parts, such as up a skirt or down the top of a shirt to expose the chest. This predatory act is both a violation of privacy as well as a degrading non-abusive sexual act when the photographs are taken for sexual use. As we move forward as a society, laws must be revised to address our advances in technology and the effect they have on our rights.
Recently, Massachusetts passed a law (http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/06/us/massachusetts-upskirt-ban/) that is an exemplary model for the action that federal government should take against this evolving issue.
