our second amendment right to bear arms is not just protection from our fellow members of society, but also from our own government. the likelihood of citizens needing to take action against our government is low. however in the case it needs to happen we would likely fail due to the fact that the military has far superior weaponry. we as citizens are mainly limited to semi automatic rifles, handguns, and bolt action rifles. now there are those who feel guns kill people. the gun cant pull its own trigger. most guns used in crimes are unlawfully acquired. this petition is to legalize ownership and sale of fully automatic weapons, high capacity magazines, explosive rounds, armor piercing rounds, and mild forms of explosives indefinitely.
