Uphold our American Identity by not being intimidated by terrorist organizations into closing our borders.

This petition is requesting that our Government place the values and identity that we, as Americans and the guardians of the United States Constitution, hold ahead of any group or organization's fears. America was a beacon of light, the land of opportunity for generations, and a powerful force in security. Given the recent terrorist attacks in France and threats by ISIS to other major cities worldwide and here in the U.S closing our borders to immigrants and refugees would NOT be a responsible action but one of FEAR. We need to send a message to these terrorist organizations that we are not afraid of them and that we will continue to strive to be the land of opportunity that brought our forefathers to this great nation. We are not afraid and will not be ruled by fear.
