Uphold the rights of American citizens to due process and not be bombed by their own government.

The Obama Administration is reviewing whether or not to use drone strikes against American citizens in foreign countries affiliated with terrorist organizations. While Americans who support Al-Qaeda are deplorable and should be brought to justice, we must do so under the right of due process. No Government should be the sole arbiter of an American's life. The distance that citizen is from the homeland is an arbitrary measure and the severity of their crimes is for the citizenry to judge through a jury of peers, not the Government. We must have faith in our society to know wrong. This action strikes too deep at the heart of what America stands for, it asks it citizens to trust too much and it asks us to risk too much. This is a clear ethical line and a path down which we should not walk
