Given recent and past indiscretions by Agents of the United States of America against its Citizens it is time that the constitutionality and ethicality of such acts and the laws that sanctioned them be questioned.
In accordance with the IV amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the People have the right to be "... secure in their ... papers... against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation... describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
This should encompass electronic papers in the form of emails, texts, documents, photos, etc. Monitoring of Citizens and retaining their data without reason or cause is unwarranted and should be illegal.
