Recently, Youtube has implemented a content ID flag system that automatically detects video game content in someone else's video and flags the video for copyright infringement. This has resulted in the flagging and removing of hundreds of gaming and reviewing videos which should have been protected under Sec. 107 of the Copyright Act (1976). Youtube Partners receive a portion of advertising revenue on their videos and are being struck the hardest. Now, both real and faked claims of copyright infringement by game publishers has resulted in the seizure of and the appropriation of what should have been the Partner's income to the publisher whose content was fairly used. We petition the U.S. Executive Branch to carry out its Constitutional duty and enforce Fair Use (Sec.107)
