Uphold Separation of Church and State and remove all religious insinuations from currency, oaths, and public buildings.

Created by R.M. on January 08, 2013

Our Founding Fathers intended for our Government to not engage in religious preference or establishment.

Why do we mention "God" in our beloved Pledge to the Flag? Why do we mention "God" in our national currency?
Why do we start sessions of Congress and Courts with a prayer?

It's not American. It's not appropriate. It's disrespectful to followers of Islam who do not believe in the same Christian God and Judaism who do not share the same religious principles. It's spiteful toward Atheists.

Religious prayer and insinuation should be left to private citizens in their homes, houses of worship and private lives. Religion has no place in our Government which should mirror what our Founding Fathers intended.
