All American citizens should pledge to use their votes to vote out of office any or all of their representatives to Congress (both in the House and the Senate) who vote against any "Fiscal Cliff" proposal. This pledge would apply to the next election opportunity and be regardless of political party affiliation, with the end goal of removing the hard-headed self-serving politicians on both sides of the aisle who hold our nation's progress a hostage to their stubborn, uncompromising ideology.
