Every 5 seconds - 16,000 a day - a child dies of starvation who does not have to die. The world has enough resources and logistical capability to save them NOW. All it lacks is the will. There is no more pressing task today than saving these children. Many organizations are trying their heroic best, but do not have the resources needed for the task. Our humanity is at stake. To let a child die while we go to a movie, play on a IPhone, is inhuman. If we were starving, we would want the world to drop everything and save us. Let us do unto others what we would want done unto us. When an emaciated child is brought into a clinic, the first thing they do is put a tape measure around their upper left arm. If it measures less than 11cm, the child has only a 5% chance of life. Please help them.
