In a time of great uncertainty surrounding numerous issues, including resource usage, climate change and even quality of life, a win-win scenario would be for Americans to begin to consider how their cities are constructed and begin to make serious changes.
Tips for how it could be done would include walk-able neighborhoods and the concept of New Urbanism in general. As the concept has yet to permeate much of American consciousness, considering our largely monolithic approach to how we have previously constructed our cities, a helpful call from above could ignite serious debate and hopefully reform.
