We have seen an influx of cell phone video providing evidence during a crime, during alleged police misconduct, and during random acts of kindness. The footage has proven in many cases that which would have been denied.
Both Google, Inc. and Apple, Inc. have the technology for quick voice commands through Google Now and Siri, respectively. Neither platform, however, has a built in command to immediately start videotaping from ones phone. If both companies provide this command as a built-in option, Americans will be safer knowing they can immediately begin recording on the first sign of danger.
