Urge banks to further postpone foreclosures when there is a solid offer submitted on a home through Short Sale.

Created by L.G. on October 26, 2011

Too often banks are foreclosing on properties in Las Vegas while there is an offer being negotiated through short sale. It appears that the different departments in a bank do not speak to each other on an ongoing basis for updates on offers. And when they are communicated with, banks choose to allow the home to go to trustee sale or foreclosure rather than allow the time to complete the short sale. We often hear through Realtors that a good or full price offer is being negotiated through short sale but the home is approaching a sale date and rather than the bank postponing a sale date to accommodate the short sale process, they allow it to go to trustee sale or foreclosure where it often sells for less than the short sale price. This makes no sense! Let's continue to help homeowners!
