URGE THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT TO RELEASE ANTI-HARASSMENT FEMALE ACTIVISTS

Five Chinese young female activists were unreasonably detained right before this year's International Women’s Day, as they planned to campaign for anti-sexual harassment on public buses, given that they have the right to public petition and free of speech under the Constitution of the People's Republic of China. The Chinese government must immediately release them and respect their entitlement to the constitutional rights.
The five young female activists are Churan ZHENG, Rongrong WU, Tingting WEI, Man WANG, and Tingting LI. Among the above, Ms. WU was found treated badly up to date by the Chinese Police in charge of such arrest. Thus, these activists should get released immediately, while the US Government needs to act thoroughly to ensure the Chinese counterpart to do so.
