While not an indictment of the 2nd Amendment, we feel the time has come to address the ambiguous language allowing citizens the right to bear anything that resembles a weapon.
There can be no practical reason for non-military personnel to own these sorts of armaments.
On December 15th 2012 Jarrett Kyle Brooks savagely murdered 48 year old Jonathan Acree in a trailer park in Flordia with an "assault hammer". It is the opinion of the petitioner that Federal legislation banning the use of all "assault hammers" could have saved this mans life.
