Urge Congress to allow each individual state to vote yea or nay on any nation-wide gun control legislation.

I am concerned that Congress, in its hastiness to assuage the fears of the nation, will ram through a gun control law that could have devastating effects on the personal security of the nation's citizens and no real impact on deterring future murderers. Therefore, I am calling on you to join me in urging President Obama and Congress to give each individual state the decision - based on the responses of its constituents - on whether or not to enact any nation-wide gun control legislation that is proposed/passed.
