Following Newtown, the Obama administration promised to take action on assault weapons & high capacity magazines.
Instead, they did nothing.
From a theater in Aurora, CO to a community college in Umpqua,OR we have seen the results of that inaction.
"Active shooter" has become a common term in social media. We hear about another gunman, armed to the teeth, and capable of sustained fire with 100 round drums or 30 round barrel magazines.
We hear our president express grief, anger, outrage.
And then we see our government do nothing, thanks to the money they get from special interest groups like the NRA.
It is long past the time when something should have been done.
Let this be the time when our government finally says "Enough!" and bans assault weapons & high capacity magazines.
