Urge that Congress introduce legislation requiring the full text of a measure be read in session before all votes on it.

Dear President,
Insofar as the Congress of the United States was elected by the people of this country for the purpose of the promotion of the common good, and entrusted with the legislative authority for the sake of their deliberations, We urge you to request that they return to that purpose by considering carefully the measures upon which they vote. We urge you to request that Congress pass legislation limiting itself to a consideration of those measures which have been read in full session, requiring that all members of Congress at least take the time to know what they are voting for. In the wake of the Affordable care act, many legislators came forward saying that they had voted for this monumental piece of legislation, without knowing what it contained.Don't let it happen again, Pleas
