President Obama has done a great thing in creating this petition process which enables us to communicate our concerns directly to the White House. Congress should also be on board with this petition process. The Citizens of the United States should have a more direct way of contacting our Representatives in Washington in a broader way which will expand our voice in Washington. Most of the issues for which there are petitions are matters that will first go before Congress prior to going before the President for his approval or disapproval. Congress should have a better feeling for what the Citizens of the United States think on these subjects before they send a bill to the President for his signature.
