A bill to exclude from consumer credit reports medical debt that has been in collection and has been fully paid or settled, and for other purposes. Medical debt is NOT a luxury we irresponsibly choose! The credit reporting agencies have complete control over our employment, interest rates, ability to obtain home, car or necessary loans. Congress has allowed this bill, which would protect thousands of responsible and uninsured American's, to die and be referred back to committee. Let's ensure that it get's to President Obama and that the American people are judged fairly!
