This petition is for the American people to request that congress remove the securitization date requirement for mortgages to qualify for refinancing under either HARP2.0 or an potential upcoming HARP 3.0. This would allow more homeowners to take advantage of today's low rates, save money on their mortgage ( and in some cases allow them to remain in their house) and provide a stimulus for the economy at the individual level, not at the corporate or governmental level.
