Urge Congress to revive the Violence Against Women Act that protects minorities, LGBT, youth & tribal communities.

Created by A.B. on January 04, 2013

The Violence Against Women Act failed to come up for an up and down vote during the lame-duck session of the 112th Congress. This bill will stop domestic & sexual abuse towards women of color, youth, the LGBT community, and the tribal community. It is a HUMAN RIGHT for this great nation to have a law that saves millions of women's lives from domestic violence. I urge the Obama Administration to get Congress to pass this legislation so that the next generation of women will have a law that protects them from heinous domestic and sexual abuse. Please make the VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT the "Law of the Land" for this country.
