Venezuelan Liberty Act - Provides for the adjustment to permanent resident status of a national of Venezuela who has maintained a required physical presence in the United States during the period beginning on February 2, 1999, and ending on March 4, 2013, and who, during such period, applied for asylum and was placed in exclusion, deportation, or removal proceedings.
The Venezuelan people need help from the US to free themselves from the dictatorship they live in. under Maduro's regimen thousands of people are being brutally killed not only by the thugs but also by the military sent by Maduro to create fear and silence them. There is no guarantee and no respect for life. Just in 2013 more than 24,000 were murdered and no one is in jail for it.
