President Obama, We the people of the United States of America want your administration to urge congress to work for minimum wage until the unemployment rate at or below 4%. Also ask members of congress and your administration to donate excess pay to lower the deficit, pay down debt, fund projects to fix our crumbling infrastructure, and get Americans back to work.
We the people also demand a raise, $7.25 an hour keeps the public in poverty. We deserve no less than $12 dollars per hour. We would like you to urge congress to raise the minimum wage to $9 dollars per hour by the end of 2013. The minimum wage should increase to $12 dollars per hour by the end of your second term. Mr. President, America deserves a Raise.
