Urge DOJ to open investigation into fatal shooting of unarmed Iraq Veteran Denis Reynoso in his own home by Lynn police

Created by A.L. on November 29, 2014

Urge The Dept of Justice to open an investigation into the fatal shooting of Denis Reynoso, an unarmed Iraq war veteran gunned down by Lynn Police in his own home Sept 5, 2013 in front of his 5 year-old son.

Police were called for yelling/ "disturbing the peace." A postal carrier told officers Reynoso may have PTSD from the war. But this didn't stop Officer Bernard from gaining access in Reynoso's home without a warrant. One cop said "Officer Bernard kicked the door in."

In a struggle when Officer Hilton shot Reynoso, there was no imminent danger to others as Bernard released the magazine yet told the other officer to shoot.

Reynoso was unarmed; no gun residue was found on his hands. The DA never reconciled key issues & Governor Patrick gave the officers the highest honor for killing.
