Urge FIFA to reconsider playing the 2022 World Cup in Qatar due to the human rights violations in stadium construction.

Created by D.M. on February 19, 2015

Sharan Burrow, general secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation estimates that "more workers will die building World Cup infrastructure than players will take to the field" in the buildup to Qatar's World Cup in 2022. Qatar is using a mostly migrant work force to construct the necessary stadiums and hotels to be utilized during the 2022 World Cup. These migrant workers are dying at an alarming rate, due to poor conditions, living environments, and blatant disregard for their well-being. The pay received by these workers is also outrageously low. Please send a letter to FIFA and urge them to re-consider their decision to play the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
