On February 12, 2013, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that it would be dropping the sport of Wrestling from the Olympic Games in 2020. The IOC decided to retain the modern pentathlon rather than the sport of Wrestling.
Wrestling has been include in all of the modern Olympic Games since 1896. Wrestling is also the oldest known sport in history and was included in the original Olympic Games.
We urge this Administration to address the IOC and appeal to them to include wrestling in the 2020 Olympic Games and to stand up for a sport that is very popular in the US and around the world.
