How would you feel if you didn't know when your next paycheck was coming? What if your employer just told you "it's coming but I can't tell you when or if we are even getting ready to send it"? Or when you do expect your paycheck they tell you "it's coming late due to technical difficulties".
To most of us tax paying Americans, our tax refund is a paycheck that we depend on to take care of everyday expenses such as food, clothing, transportation and housing for our families as well as any unexpected expenses that may arise and not knowing it's status if stressing. Please urge the IRS to update their tax return status system to provide more timely and informing status updates to individual taxpayers.
